Affiliate Marketing: 5 Ways To Promote Your Affiliate Products

Author In my earlier post, I have already discussed about the common mistakes that you should avoid in affiliate marketing and in today’s post I just want to share 5 ways to promote your affiliate products. I feel affiliate marketing is still a great income opportunity for those who wanted to make money online. Even I myself made couple of hundreds of dollars via affiliate marketing. But recently I noticed more and more people are suffering in promoting their affiliate products. Some of them don’t even know what products they should promote. So, that’s why today I’ve decided to write a quick post about this.
Way 1: Using Preselling Method
I really love this method and many successful marketers are claiming that this method still works well. Preselling method is a way that use to describe a product which results your reader to further more go and check out the product that you’re promoting. You can do your preselling by writing a blog post in your blog or even a video. By uploading the video to Youtube you’ll get more traffic and if your video is entertaining and full of information people will definitely love your video and don’t mind of sharing it with their friends. So, more people will check out your video and there is a higher chance for you to earn more commission from the product you’re promoting. You can do preselling for a product by creating a site especially for that product then write few related articles about the product you’re promoting. Your articles must state the benefits by using the product you’re promoting. Then, at end of every article state your affiliate link so that your readers will check out your recommendation. If you do the right way, everything goes well. If you have mess up anything, then everything will go wrong.
Way 2: Using Article Marketing
This is another way to promote your affiliate products. You can write articles that are full of content. Then, submit it to article directories like ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com. However, you must follow few guidelines while submitting your articles to article directories. They are, never write an article that is directly promoting your offer. For instance you can’t say buy this product, it will solve this problem of yours in any part of the article. You also can’t publish any link within the article. So, how to promote your affiliate offer? You can do so by mentioning it into your author’s resource box. But remember you never ever can publish your affiliate link in your author box just like that and if there is, your articles will be deleted immediately without any warning. The worst part is you can even be banned from using their site. However, there is one right way to do this. That is, get a domain name for yourself and redirect it to your affiliate link. Then, leave your new domain name as your link. So, whoever clicks on your domain name will be redirected to your affiliate link. If people buys through your affiliate link, then you’ll get your commissions.
Way 3: Promote It To Your List
This should be the first way to promote an affiliate offer. To do this, you need to build your list. However you simply can’t blast all the affiliate emails to your list. You need to have a specific list for each niche market you’re promoting like if you’re promoting a weight loss product then you should have a list who’re interested in the weight loss product. So, it’ll be easier for you to promote your affiliate offer to those who’re interested. Never ever ignore the fact of having your very own subscribers list. I had a friend who was very talented and knowledgeable but he didn’t made much income from the affiliate marketing. The very main reason was he don’t have a subscribers list where he can instantly sent his promo email to his list. This was his biggest mistake. I told him many times but he never listened and now he has completely quit from this IM world. I’m telling you this here because I don’t want you to repeat the very same mistake again. Your list is the very first source of traffic you could instantly drive traffic to your affiliate offer. So, never ever forget to build your list especially in the niche you really want to focus in. Way 4: Using Facebook Ads
I’m very sure many of you heard about Facebook. Facebook is the world’s largest social networking site where nearly 400 millions of users are currenly using Facebook. What it means to you? You can easily prommote your affiliate offers via facebook’s in-built ad system. I really love this and have seen some success within it. All you have to do is grab a free account with Facebook, then within your control panel you’ll see a link to ads. There you’ve to modify your ads by allocating your daily budget and who can see your ad and etc. By doing this, Facebook will only show your ad to those who you’ve already specify or who else falls within the category you’ve specified. For instance, your affiliate offer is about dog training, then your ads only will be shown to those dog lovers/owners who really care about their dog. By focusing on a specific audience, there is a higher chance for you to make money with your affiliate offer.
Way 5: Using Solo Ads & etc.
This is another way to promote your affiliate offer. You can ask big list owners to promote your affiliate link for a fee. You can find some of those big list owners by looking in forums. You can find a section within Warrior Forum that is Joint Venture Partners where you can post your request to promote your offer to their list. Those who are interested will contact you with the relevant details like the price, how many time your ads will be sent out and etc.

First of all, I would like to say sorry for not posting any valuable content for some time in my blog. I was super busy with many other projects and some of them are really working well and some were not. Yup, this is the fact. So, I’m spending more time and using new marketing tecniques to improve them. I’ll be talking about them in detail in my upcoming posts.

This is the most common affiliate marketing mistake. If you are just starting out, please do your very own homework. Just don’t jump in any niche just because many so called Internet Marketing Gurus are telling you. First of all, you need to find out whether is there any demand for that niche. You can do so by doing your own research work like using Google’s Free Keyword Tool.
Common Mistake 2: Not Optimizing Your Website
This is another big problem that a lot of people are keep on complaining that their website is not getting the hits as how they expected. The problem is their website is not optimize for search engine results. You can overcome this problem by optimizing your website for search engine. You can submit your website to your niche search directory. Common Mistake 3: Not Using The Product Before You’re Promoting It
I myself have seen it and have fall trap into this. Many marketers just keep on promoting other marketers products with the hope of making a steady flow of income. The worst part is most of the marketers will never actually buys the product or use it before they promote it to others. So, if possible please buy the product and use it. Then, you will actually will know what this product is all about and you can come up with a better review or a good promoting material for others.
Common Mistake 4: Sending Direct Traffic To The Vendor
This is another common mistake where most people just paste their affiliate link and ask their subscribers to check out the link that contains the special offer. Once people clicked the link, they will be taken to the seller/vendor’s website. In the long run it will cause you a big loss of quality traffic. Before you send any traffic to the vendor’s site, try to grab your visitors email address so that in future you could do some follow ups for other relevant products or even for your very own product.

This problem can be easily dealt if the user have to promote it with a single ID or single affiliate link. This will eliminate unnecessary headaches to the user and also the vendor. If the creators of this plugin can do something about this, then there won’t be a big problem for the bloggers whoever using these plugins.
