Quick Update!

Author Hello everyone,
This is Nithiyaah here with an important update. I have moved my blog from my sub-directory to the root folder. In other words, I have moved my blog to the main site. So from now onwards, my blog officially will be in http://nithiyaah.com. Some of you might wonder why I have moved my blog from sub-directory to the main site. When I was starting out, I thought of having my online store in my root directory. So,I have installed my wordpress blog in one of the sub-directory. But, after sometime I totally fall in love with blogging. Yes, this is the same blog where it gives me a first page ranking in google for my review on projectminisite.com and this same blog is the reason for me to get second page ranking in google for Why I’m not into Video Blogging. I truly understand that what a blog can do for my business and myself. Now, I’m proud to say I’m a blogger. I’ll be setting up my online store in any other domain name or sub-directory of mine. I haven’t decide about it yet. I hope you guys will welcome this new movement with warm hearts and due to some technical glitches,some of the links seems to be broken and I promise you in another one or two weeks time everything will be normal. If you have anything to say,please leave your comments and don’t be shy. OK.

Why I’m Not Into Video Blogging!
When I started blogging, I was planning to add more videos as my blog’s content. This is because videos are hot and I am very sure it will bring more visitors to my blog. I myself love videos. But, adding videos was not an easy task like how I thought. You can add videos from Social Video Sites like Youtube, viddler by embedding some html codes that you can grab from their site. But, if you want to upload and publish your own video might be a little daunting task for beginners. However, this task also becomes a much more easier with the inbuilt easy video uploader which comes with wordpress blog. At this point, the problem of uploading a video into a wordpress blog is no more a big problem.
However, the next big problem is creating your own video. Some people will say you can create your own videos with the Windows Media Player for free. Again, this is not an effective way for publishing valuable tutorials in one’s site. If you ever plan to create quality and rich in content videos, then you should use CAMTASIA software. Camtasia also enables one to create their own video with powerpoint presentation and there is so much more things you could do with Camtasia. If you have the content for your upcoming video,then creating video with Camtasia is not a problem at all. OK, now the presentation part is no more a big deal.
If the above mentioned problems are not the reason for me not to add any videos on my site, then what is stopping me from adding videos as the content in my blog? The very first reason is if my videos are taking more time to upload or buffering, then my visitors will be leaving my blog before they can even could watch it and they won’t be coming back again to my site. This leads into losing some quality traffic to my site and it is also damaging my reputation among my new readers. Remember once you lose your customers trust, it is very hard to gain their trust again. So, do it in the right way from the very beginning itself.
Another reason why I am not using videos as my blog content is most people are do not prefered to watch a video which runs more than 10mins. To be honest with you, I myself hate to watch a video for more than 15mins. If it is a movie, then it is a different story. Do you know there are still a lot of people prefer to read than watching a video? Yes, this is the fact. I am not discouraging anyone here to create your own video as your blog’s content. What I am trying to say here is use videos wisely. Just use the videos when you are sure that this can be shown in a video where your readers can understand for better rather than it is in writing and vice versa. What is the purpose of creating a valuable content? The reason is you want to share your knowledge where others can benefit from it or want to drive more traffic to your site or the reason could be something else. But, remember you are producing a content where others can understand and benefit from it. This is what will ensure your great success in the long run.

Still Undecided?
Hello everyone,
This is Nithiyaah here and came up with a new post something which caught my attention today. Today, my friend called me and she was too upset because most of her works are in pending and she couldn’t find any time for herself and her family.
I told her not to be tensed up and I discussed about what she did so far to complete her pending works. When she shared with me, I understood that she was not focused in any project and she was keeping on taking new projects because she found that her first project was taking lot of time rather than the new one. The same thing happens when she stepped into her next project. I told her ‘just stop whatever you are doing right now! and try to focus with one project and complete it first’. She came over to my place and we sat together and started brainstorming on how to complete her projects on time. It was a great time. I was surprised looking at her ideas and how much she has gone through for it.
She has already completed the first part. She has written down a detailed step-by-step plans for her projects but she suddenly has stopped working on them in the midway itself. This is the same situation that happened in her other projects. I know where the problem was. I asked her ‘why are you concentrating on all your projects at the same time?’ She said that she needs to complete them on time. I shared few of my ways to solve her problems. Long story to short, she was clear in her mission and the good thing was after she reached home, she has already completed one of her project. I was very happy for her and told her to keep herself in the track.
Some of you might wonder what I would do in this same situation. Have you faced any situations like this before? Well, the first thing I’ll do is I’ll write down my ideas and plans in my idea book. Yes, you read it right! I have my own idea book where I’ll jot down all my business ideas whenever I come up with a new idea. Sometimes I came up with 20-50 ideas per day and it varies on the situation. If I am planning to start a new project, I’ll take some pieces of paper and start developing the idea into a detailed step-by-step blueprint.
This is where I’ll write down everything in detail on what I’ve to do in order to accomplish my new project. For an instance, if you are planning to launch your membership site, you need to decide on several factors like shown below:
- What niche your membership site all about
- What type of membership site you are going to have (free or paid or fixed term membership)
- What script you are planning to use (amember/wishlist/easymember pro)
- How will you find the contents for your membership site
- How you are going to promote your site to your upcoming new members and etc.
Whatever I’ve mentioned above, is just one of the example where you can use it for your new project. Then, the very next thing I’ll do is to set up a time limit for each of my task. For instance, I’ll allocate 1-2days to find the right domain name for my upcoming new membership site. However, this varies according to the individual. That’s how, I’ll do the things that I need to do. But, certain things I’ll just outsource it to others like copywriting and graphic designing for my upcoming new membership site. This will help me to finish my project on time. So, this is something how I will be working out but this is not the exact one how I’ll do it. I’m just sharing the basic idea on how you can do the same thing and avoid tons of mistakes from the very beginning itself. Remember, doing the right things from the beginning itself is the key to success.
I hope this would give some idea on how to handle things when you are undecided on what to do next in your projects or your online business. If you haven’t started making any money from whatever you are doing right now, then stop doing it and look back on whatever you did this far. Figure out what went wrong or try to talk to someone who is also a like-minded person like you and get his/her opinion regarding your situation. This will help you to come across lot of things much more easier than you imagine.

Today I’m very happy because two wonderful occasions have come together. First of all, it is Lunar New Year and this is Tiger Year. We are the family of Nithiyaah.com wish you and your family a very happy and prosperous New Year. On the other hand,it is also Valentine Day! We wish you Happy Valentine’s Day!
